Cabot’s Arts and Music Festival returns

CABOT, Vt. (WCAX) – Cabot’s Arts and Music Festival kicks off Friday.

Twelve bands will hit four stages across the village. The two-day festival also features food trucks, a maker’s market, and other community art projects.

Dana Robinson, one of the organizers, says that after two years of getting hit hard by flooding, the joyous celebration is a welcome event.

“Last year, we had to curtail much of what we had done because of the flood. And it’s as if this year we’re just kind of doubling down and going for it all,” she said. “I think it’s what it means to Cabot — is just something where we can all come together and be proud of this beautiful event happening right in the village.”

The festival is located on the village common and runs on Friday and Saturday.
