Suspect in Enosburgh convenience store robberies arrested in South Carolina

ST. ALBANS, Vt. (WCAX) – Police say a suspect connected to a string of armed robberies in Enosburgh this spring is in custody.

During one of the two stickups in May at the Jolley convenience store, workers told troopers that a man walked into the store just after midnight with his shirt pulled over his face, told them he had a weapon and demanded money.

Vermont State Police on Thursday said that Anthony Ryan, 33, of Richford, had been arrested in South Carolina for a parole violation warrant and was extradited back to Vermont to face assault and robbery charges.
