NH DMV introduces new translation devices

CONCORD, N.H.(WCAX) – The New Hampshire DMV has added new translation devices to its locations.

The devices can translate more than 80 languages and can also assist those who are hard of hearing or have impaired vision. Employees or customers can speak into the device and the message will be audibly translated and will also appear written on the screen.

The goal is to help improve access to DMV services like road skills, tests, and getting a drivers license.

The translation devices are available at all full-time DMV locations throughout the state.
