MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont regulators have approved UVM Medical Center’s plan to purchase the Fanny Allen campus in Colchester.
The hospital in January asked the Green Mountain Care Board to buy the facility for $17.3 million. The facility is owned by Covenant Health which leases it to the hospital for outpatient clinics and offices including rehabilitation therapy and pharmacy services.
UVMMC’s purchase will allow tens of thousands of patients to continue accessing services without interruption.
