BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Construction has started to improve access to a Burlington park.
Crews have started to create a path from the Miller Center at Schifilliti Park to James Ave. The path is 8-feet wide and 830-feet long.
The city says its a well traveled area that connects the neighborhood to the park, a nearby school, and a bus stop. They say this path will help the whole community.
“The important connection that it makes is neighborhoods to neighborhoods without kids having to travel around,” Cindi Wight of Burlington Parks and Recreation said.
The path is expected to be complete by mid-August, right before the start of the new school year.
