Lyndonville man in custody after traffic stop

ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. (WCAX) – A Lyndonville man is in custody after police found he had several warrants during a traffic stop.

Police say troopers were on patrol in the area of Main St. and Western Ave in St. Johnsbury when they conducted a traffic stop, and found the passenger was 37-year-old Andrew Davis who had several warrants.

Police say Davis was wanted for cocaine possession, larceny from a person, and accessory aiding in the commission, plus two counts of assault and robbery.

He is being held on $600 bail and will appear in court Monday.
