BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Police say a Highgate man was arrested after waving a firearm at someone.
Our crew captured video of officers with their guns drawn, arresting 40-year-old Jason Douglas in the parking lot of the Burlington police Department.
Police say they were told that a man, later identified as Douglas, brandished a firearm at someone near Church and King Streets around 1:00 p.m.
We don’t know why Douglas ended up at the department, police only told us they conducted a high-risk stop and that he was taken into custody.
They say reckless endangerment charges are expected.
