SPRINGFIELD, Vt. (WCAX) – A Springfield man is behind bars after a months-long drug investigation.
Police say 37-year-old Martin Gonyea had been distributing fentanyl and cocaine in the Springfield area since the beginning of the year and was doing so within 500 feet of a public school.
Gonyea was also under two different conditions of release orders previously, related to other drug charges.
He is being held on $10,000 bail and is expected in Vermont Superior Court in Winsor tomorrow afternoon.
