BARRE, Vt. (WCAX) – Police are looking for the driver of an SUV who fired a gun in the direction of a pedestrian Thursday night.
Barre Police say a man was walking downtown with his dog around 11 p.m. near Brook and Seminary Streets when he saw a car speeding in the area. After telling the driver to slow down — and an “exchange of words” — police say the driver brandished a firearm and shot in the direction of the man prior to speeding off. No one was reported injured.
Police are now looking for a silver or grey SUV, thought to be a Honda CRV, with unknown Vermont plates.
