New Hampshire passes bill banning products containing PFAS

CONCORD, N.H. (WCAX) – New Hampshire has passed a new law banning consumer goods containing PFAS.

Goods included in the bill that are now banned in the state include food packaging, children’s products, feminine hygiene products, and furniture.

The bill also holds industries liable for cleanup, restoration, and other remediation costs due to PFAS contamination.

This comes after the state of Vermont passed its own law banning consumer products containing PFAS in May.
