MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) – Nearly a month after flooding hit several parts of the state on July 10 and 11, Governor Phil Scott says he’s requested federal assistance for the cleanup process.
Governor Scott’s team said in a statement Saturday that he “has made a formal request for a federal disaster declaration which would bring federal resources to individuals and communities recovering from the July 10 and 11 flooding event. The declaration requests funding under the federal Public Assistance and Individual Assistance programs.”
