SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – This week’s Pets with Potential are three pairs of bonded cats, dogs, and bunnies available for adoption at the Humane Society of Chittenden County.
Jack is a 4-year-old tuxedo kitty and his best friend, Face, is a 7-year-old tabby. Shelter staff say the bonded pair are a joy to be around. They love to cuddle, gaze out the window, and lounge in a sunny spot together. Ace has diabetes, and is currently stable on a routine that will need to continue long-term. These boys are inseparable besties and must be adopted together.
Wyatt and Ollie are also on double duty and are ready for a fresh start. The Goldendoodle brothers are just under 2 years old and are sweet, gentle, silly, playful, and loving. They love long walks, snuggling on the couch, and romping in the backyard. They’re pretty good with other dogs and kids but should go to a home with no cats. They must also be adopted together.
Apollo and Aries are a pair of bonded bunnies. They love to play and get attention and even enjoy some supervised outdoor time. Apollo is described as charming and has a history of spinal injury so he has trouble grooming himself. His bestie does a pretty good job at keeping him spiffed up but Apollo still needs some help with his hair care.
