MILTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Authorities say no charges will be filed in the case of an 18-month-old child who died after being left in a hot car in Milton last month.
First responders say they found the toddler unresponsive in the parking lot of a business on Centre Drive in Milton July 24. The child was rushed to the UVM Medical Center but later died.
Police on Friday confirmed that the child died from being left in the car and that it was an accident.
