WINOOSKI, Vt. (WCAX) – Another Chittenden County community is asking for a change in their skies.
On Wednesday night, the Winooski City Council voted to pass a resolution calling for a change to the F-35 mission at the Vermont Air National Guard.
The resolution asks the Vermont congressional delegation to ask the secretary of the United States Airforce to change the mission for the guard to something that causes less harm to surrounding residential neighborhoods.
This move is similar to a resolution passed by Burlington last month.
