RUTLAND, Vt. (WCAX) – This week’s Pets with Potential are a dog, kitty, and rabbit available for adoption at the Rutland County Humane Society.
Luna is a two-year-old American Staffordshire terrier who is very excitable and affectionate. Shelter staff say she loves to cuddle and sunbathe and would do best in a home without cats or other dogs. She is working through a few medical issues and is not quite ready for adoption but can be fostered in the meantime.
Buttons is an eight-year-old female kitty who loves her quiet time and can keep herself perfectly entertained with a cardboard box. She’ll do best as an only cat but may do well with dogs.
Stella is a 16-month-old rabbit who loves to lounge around and munch on vegetables. She loves attention and being handled. She has lived well with kids in the past but her history with dogs and cats is unknown.
