CONCORD, N.H. (WCAX) – New Hampshire’s governor will head to Ireland on Saturday for a trade mission.
Gov. Chris Sununu and other state officials will meet with Irish officials to discuss the expansion of Irish businesses in U.S. markets and a future of cooperation in trade, investment, education and tourism.
It follows the governor’s signing of a bill in March to establish a New Hampshire-Ireland trade council which officially commences next month.
Annually, more than $400 million in goods are exported from New Hampshire to Ireland.
The governor is scheduled to return to New Hampshire on Sept. 22.
