BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Residents in southern Vermont can expect a heavier police presence this week as Vermont state police hold training with the FBI.
VSP’s tactical services unit and the FBI are holding joint trainings across the state with more police activity expected in Windsor and Bennington counties.
In some of these trainings, the public will see a lot of law enforcement and in some cases, helicopters but VSP says there is no cause for alarm.
Those trainings are closed to the public.
