BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – The Flynn has a unique and awe-inspiring event planned for this fall on top of Mount Philo and you could be a part of the performance.
“Arch” is a performance sculpture event. As part of the show, they hope to get at least 100 Vermonters to come and participate as “secret singers” in a community choir. The ritualistic singing will go on as the arch is built from stone and ice on top of the mountain.
Our Cam Smith spoke with Flynn Executive Director Jay Wahl about the show and the inspiration behind it.
“The Flynn is always looking for ways to bring people together in in dialog. You know, the arts is really a container for meaningful dialog,” Wahl said.
