Free meetings aim to help reduce stress for flood-impacted Vermonters

BARNET, Vt. (WCAX) – A group of therapists in the Northeast Kingdom want to help reduce stress for flood-impacted Vermonters.

Mental health therapists formed the “Stress Reduction Groups for Flood Distress” to bolster support for flood victims.

The free meetings aim to reduce stress and increase emotional stability.

You don’t have to be a direct flood survivor to participate but you must be over 18.

There are two upcoming in-person sessions, as well as two virtual sessions next month.
