CHAZY, N.Y. (WCAX) – Health officials say West Nile virus has made its way to Clinton County, New York.
Tuesday, health officials reported the year’s first human case of West Nile virus in the county.
The infected person is a 50-year-old Chazy resident who is now recovering after hospitalization.
Officials urge people to take steps to protect themselves from mosquito bites.
