PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (WCAX) – There is new leadership at the city police department in Plattsburgh.
Mayor Chris Rosenquest said Wednesday that Sgt. Kevin Jessey is being promoted to lieutenant and will share command of the department following Chief Peter Mitchell’s retirement earlier this month.
Another notable promotion– Det. Christine Minardi is now a sergeant. City leaders believe she is just the second woman to hold that rank in the department.
