VT. town celebrates 50 years of agriculture

UNDERHILL, Vt. (WCAX) – Underhill celebrates half a century of community and agriculture.

Today kicked off the two-day Harvest Market.

Founded in 1975 as a fundraiser to benefit the united church of Underhill, it’s grown into a large event drawing thousands.

The weekend kicked off with the harvest market parade featuring organizations from across the region, classic cars, tractors and political candidates.

Those who have been coming for years say the festival means a lot to the community.

There’s local vendors, food, live music and more.

The harvest festival runs through tomorrow afternoon.
