PERU, N.Y. (WCAX) – New York State Police say a person is dead in Peru after being hit by a car.
It happened at around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Brand Hollow Road and Route 22.
State police spent hours at the scene before towing the white damaged SUV to the Plattsburgh Police Barracks at around 9:00 p.m.
Police will not say who the person was and are not releasing any more details at this time.
