BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermonters trying to keep their heads above water after losing work in this summer’s flooding could get a helping hand.
The Vermont Department of Labor announced that disaster unemployment assistance will be available for people impacted by flooding from July 29-31.
The benefits will be available for Vermonters left without work because of the flooding in Caledonia, Essex, and Orleans counties.
You have until December 2nd to file a claim.
