SPRINGFIELD, Vt. (WCAX) – This week’s Pets with Potential are two dogs and a cat available for adoption at the Springfield Humane Society.
Kaya is a nine-year-old red malamute that staff say is so fun to be around. She loves to hike, go for car rides, and take leisurely strolls in the lake. Staff says her ideal home environment would include someone who loves to go for walks and have a canine companion for their road trips.
Alyson is a five to six-year-old shepherd who was rescued from a commercial breeding facility. Staff say she is a very sweet girl but is still new to the wider world
She is a little shy but warms up very quickly to people and is always eager for attention. She might do best in a home with another dog to teach her what it’s like to have loving owners and a loving home.
Dodge is a handsome eight to nine-month-old kitten. He is very sweet and quite the chatterbox. Dodge came to the shelter as a stray but has made himself at home at the shelter. Staff say he is very fun to play with and is even great with kids. He gets along with other cats and would be a wonderful addition to any home.
