ENOSBURGH, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont State Police say the autopsy of 54-year-old Todd Lawyer of Enosburgh showed he died of a blunt force trauma to the head.
29-year-old Jordan Lawyer is in custody on charges of second degree murder and first degree aggravated domestic assault.
Police say they found Jordan’s father dead outside of a home on Route 108 Friday, and his mother, 58-year-old Robin Lawyer, beaten with a baseball bat.
His mother is in the hospital with significant injuries though police say she is stable.
Jordan Lawyer is being held without bail ahead of his arraignment scheduled for Monday.
