Hanover authorities investigate pro-Palestinian graffiti on campus

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Authorities in Hanover are investigating vandalism at Dartmouth College’s administration building.

Someone spray-painted Pro-Palestinian on the sides of the building in red paint, which was also splattered on the building’s front stairs. It has since been cleaned up. Both campus security and the Hanover Police are investigating.

In a statement, a spokesperson for the college said “Dartmouth prizes and defends the freedom of expression and dissent. Vandalism — however — is unacceptable and not protected by Dartmouth policies.”

Dozens of pro-Palestinian protestors were arrested on campus this spring after calling on the college to divest all financial interest connected to Israel.
