WINOOSKI, Vt. (WCAX) – The Winooski Farmers Market is celebrating yet another year of summer growth.
It was the last weekend before it switches over to the winter market in November.
Organizers say the market had more foot traffic this year than ever before. Last year they had about 600 to 800 visitors a day, but this summer and fall, they had 1000 to 1400 a day.
Customers soaking up the last day outside say they will miss the market while it’s gone.
“My parents are visiting from Massachusetts. They were just kind of going around the area and seeing everyone out and about here. So, we just decided it would be a great spot to come get some coffee. Walk around, chat, and enjoy the day,” said Burlington resident Pat Maley
Winooski’s winter market will start up on November 10th at the senior center on Barlow Street.
