MIDDLEBURY, Vt. (WCAX) – Middlebury College is touting its latest move in going green.
Representatives from the college and energy companies will meet up at 11 on Thursday as a five-megawatt solar array comes online.
The solar set-up is made up of over 15,000 panels and will provide the college with 40% of its total electricity.
This is just one piece of the puzzle for Middlebury College to reach its goal of using 100% renewable energy by 2028.
