BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – New York truckers are sounding the alarm again for green policies on the way in 2025.
The Trucking Association of New York is gathering to highlight concerns with Advanced Clean Truck – or ACT – regulations.
ACT requires a percentage of new trucks sold in New York to be zero emission starting in January.
The association says it’s unattainable – citing a lack of infrastructure and equipment.
Members of the trucking industry will join state leaders to call for a delay on Monday.
