SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Police in South Burlington are searching for two suspects connected to a gas station robbery where shots were fired.
Investigators say it happened Tuesday at about 6 p.m. at the Shell gas station on Williston Road.
Police say two men went into the station, demanded cash and fired off multiple gunshots.
“Just be very vigilant, be a good observer. See what people are wearing, their height, their build. Report that stuff to the police, but don’t intervene. This could be very, very dangerous. We are very lucky that it does not appear at this time anybody was injured,” South Burlington Police Lt. Chris Bataille said.
Police do not believe there is any threat to the public.
