BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont is revamping the Forest Service to better serve the state.
Starting Tuesday, foresters will be responsible for regions instead of distribution by county.
The Department of Forest, Parks and Recreation says the change will make the Forest Service more equitable.
Foresters help with management, stewardship, technical help, and outreach to landowners.
