PLYMOUTH, N.H. (WCAX) – Authorities have released the name of the man killed in a police-involved shooting in New Hampshire last week.
Tuesday, authorities identified him as Kevin Steinfeldt, 58, of Plymouth, New Hampshire.
Steinfeldt was shot by police on Thursday at the Federal House Inn in Plymouth after authorities say they tried for hours to get him to surrender but he refused.
Six officers fired their weapons. Their names have not yet been released.
The New Hampshire attorney general says the shooting is still under investigation.
