HARDWICK, Vt. (WCAX) – Close to $4 million in federal funding is on the way to Hardwick for flood recovery.
Monday, FEMA announced more than $3.9 million to reimburse the town for infrastructure damage caused by flooding in July of 2023.
That includes more than $2.6 million to repair the Main Street retaining wall and $961,000 for road and bridge projects.
The rest will go toward water treatment facility repairs and debris removal.
