Middlebury resident dies after car crash in Enosburgh

ENOSBURGH, Vt. (WCAX) – One person is dead after a car crash in Enosburgh.

Vermont State Police say it happened in the area of Stonehouse Road just after 10:00 a.m. Monday.

Responding Troopers say the driver, an 86-year-old from Middlebury, hit a telephone pole. Police noted the roads were snowy and icy at the time.

They were taken to Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans, and then to UVM Medical Center in Burlington where they passed.

The driver’s name is being withheld while family members are notified. The crash is under investigation.
