BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Burlington is set to host another private fireworks display on the waterfront Wednesday night, according to the city’s fire marshal.
The display, which is set to go off starting at 8:30 p.m., is part of a permitted show for the Associated General Contractors of Vermont’s annual meeting.
The city is now supposed to warn residents after numerous residents called to complain following last year’s unannounced display caused confusion. Residents can sign up to get notifications from the city through Burlington Community Connect.
The city hosts five public fireworks displays annually — July 4th, New Year’s Eve, and three baseball games at Centennial Field.
