HANOVER, N.H. (WCAX) – Authorities are investigating alleged hazing at a Dartmouth College fraternity.
Hanover Police on Wednesday said the victim told them they were hazed after pledging to Theta Beta Beta, the local chapter of Omega Psi Phi.
They say the victim had injuries from being hit multiple times with a wooden paddle during an event known as “The Cut.” He was then forced to eat an onion, vomited, and forced to eat the regurgitated onion. The hazing happened in August and September.
Three suspects have been identified and have warrants out for their arrest — Alexisius Q. Jones, 22, of Fountain, Colo.; Milan Williams, 37, of Los Angeles; and Gregory Dominique, 38, of Boston. Dominique and Williams are alumni of Dartmouth and Jones is a student.
Dartmouth Greek organizations have faced frequent scrutiny over alleged hazing, including the drowning death of a student last summer and other incidents in 2018.
