Public comment requested for Vt. forest plans

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – On Wednesday, you a chance to have your voice heard on the future of a Vermont forest.

The telephone gap is an area of the Green Mountain National Forest – primarily in Chittenden, Killington, Mendon, and Pittsfield.

The resource project aims to improve wildlife habitat, forest health as well as provide wood products and recreation opportunities.
