PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (WCAX) – The former Plattsburgh hospital employee who police said threatened to shoot up his workplace was sentenced on Tuesday.
Robert Thibodeau, 52, will spend eight years behind bars and five years on probation.
Police said they stopped the planned attack in February after getting a tip that Thibodeau was headed to the Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital to shoot employees there. They intercepted Thibodeau before he reached the hospital.
