RANDOLPH, Vt. (WCAX) – Every veteran buried in Vermont’s military cemeteries got a wreath this holiday season.
Saturday, more than 300 volunteers honored our fallen heroes and placed those wreaths on their graves, like at the Vermont Veterans Cemetery in Randolph.
About 5000 wreaths were sponsored through wreaths across America. And this year records were set. The most wreaths ever, and the most volunteers as well.
The wreaths were placed in six Vermont cemeteries.
