WASHINGTON, (WCAX) – Former Florida representative and Attorney General Nominee Matt Gaetz purchased and used illegal drugs and had sex with a minor. That’s the word from a Congressional Ethics Investigation into Gaetz.
The committee concluded that he violated multiple state laws related to sexual misconduct while in office, including paying multiple women for sex, one who was 17.
The report also says he bought and used illegal drugs from his Capitol Hill office.
Gaetz resigned as representative earlier this year when tapped by president-elect Trump as the attorney general nominee.
He later rescinded his name for that position as well.
