Brattleboro Ski Hill New Year’s Eve opener to carry on

BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (WCAX) – Brattleboro-area residents are ringing in the new year with a rope tow.

Despite warm temperatures and rain, groomers at Brattleboro’s Ski Hill have been busy laying down corduroy for the hill’s Tuesday night opening.

The hill first opened in the 1930s before the town stopped operating it in 1995. Two years later, a group of interested citizens reopened the hill.

Lift tickets are $5 cash only and kids 5 and under ski for free.
