BOLTON, Vt. (WCAX) – An unusual combination of road conditions led to some problems for at least one town road crew in Vermont.
Thursday morning in Bolton, officials said they couldn’t plow or sand the area of Notch Road to Route 2 because the road was too soft to run equipment on.
It comes after record warm temperatures and rain earlier this week.
Crews did maintenance on the road Thursday in hopes of improving conditions for the rest of the winter.
