BERLIN, Vt. (WCAX) – Police are searching for a man they say is dangerous and they are asking you to stay vigilant.
Police responded to a complaint Friday in the parking lot behind the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Hershey Road in Berlin.
Officers say that when they approached the car, the driver started to drive away recklessly, nearly hitting one Berlin police officer and hurting another.
Police identified the driver as 22-year-old Devin Hallock of Williamstown. Hallock reportedly told his probation officer that he would rather be shot by police then return to jail.
Police say Hallock was also involved in an incident at Market 32 in Berlin that occurred Sunday morning.
Police say Hallock is dangerous and to contact your local police if you know anything. If you do see Hallock, you should not approach him.
