Vermont Democratic Party leader steps down

MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont’s Democratic Party is searching for a new leader.

Executive Director Jim Dandeneau says he’s stepping aside after two and a half years. it comes after tough election losses for vermont democrats this November.

The party has had a number of leaders over the years who have only stayed for a year or so at a time. Dandeneau says he’s staying on the job until mid-February.
