Barre man arrested for driving stolen vehicle with suspended license

BERLIN, Vt. (WCAX) – Berlin police arrested a man Sunday as he was driving around in a stolen vehicle.

Officers said around 9:45 a.m., they saw and pulled over the car on Berlin Mall Road, right in front of the Berlin Mall.

The driver, Darrell Dixon, 47, of Barre, was driving with a criminally suspended license. He was arrested and charged with Operation of a Motor Vehicle Without Owner’s Consent, Driving with a Criminally Suspended License and Criminal Trespass.

He is set to appear in the Washington District Court on March 6th.
