BARRE, Vt. (WCAX) – Police in Barre are trying to identify and find two people who were caught on camera burglarizing a Barre business overnight.
WCAX got ahold of security footage, showing the two suspects smashing the glass on the front door of a Barre Subway, going into the business, and grabbing what appears to be a cash drawer from a cash register.
Time stamps on the footage shows it happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
Barre police tell us when employees showed up around 7:15 a.m., they found the smashed door and missing cash. Police said they don’t know much money was taken, and they are trying to figure out who the suspects are.
