PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (WCAX) – Plattsburgh’s mayor on Thursday plans to appoint a new council member for the city’s open Ward 2 seat.
Mayor Wendell Hughes says he is asking councilors to approve Jim Evans to replace Jake Avery, who resigned in December due to personal reasons.
Evans has worked at CVPH for 32 years in IT, according to Hughes.
