New exhibit showcases 150 years of winter evolution

PLYMOUTH, N.H. (WCAX) – A new exhibition in New Hampshire is contrasting winter weather across more than a century.

Plymouth State University is opening an exhibit about how winters evolved in our region.

It will include modern and historical photographs depicting 150 years of winter.

It’s called Silent Shifts – and it explores changes in the white mountains from climate change, technology, and access to the outdoors.

It’s free and open to the public at the Museum of the White Mountains.
