WEST LEBANON, N.H. (WCAX) – An assault suspect led police in the Upper Valley on a chase Wednesday morning.
Lebanon Police say they were called to the KFC/Taco Bell in West Lebanon around 10:30 a.m. after a report of an assault. When they got there, they tried to arrest David Campbell, 54, of Canaan, New Hampshire.
They say Campbell refused to comply with officers and fled in his car. There was a brief pursuit that police called off after Campbell got on I-89 south.
Police tracked down Campbell later in the afternoon and arrested him in Canaan.
He was charged with simple assault and disobeying an officer, among other charges. He’s due in court in March.
